Section A
I think that this book is very interesting because, of how the author starts the book off. It starts off with a guy jumping off the building of a hospital. There is also another thing that hasn’t changed much is that the protagonist hasn’t matured much. He has always been there and has changed but not matured. But, it is very interesting that the author wants the protagonist to keep searching for the gold that he wants to find. Because, he wants to get away from his father holding on to him, he won’t let him go unless he has the money to do something else on his own.
I think that the book is very interesting because, in the beginning of the book. I didn’t really like how it was in the beginning but after chapter 3 when the protagonist grows up and changes. It starts getting really interesting because, you never know what will happen next and it makes you want to read more and more every time.

I think that there are many good quotes from the book, that are really good. There are many where the protagonist is listening to Guitar talk about the seven days. And what they do.

I predict that Milkman (Macon Jr.) will find gold sometime in the near chapters and once he finds gold he will forget some of the people that he usually cares about really much. Because, when Guitar brought up the fact that Pilate had a lot of gold in her house, and was very easy to get it then he started to get really interested about the money part of it.

Water Quality Testing

Today was a very interesting day, we went to a place where the water run off is. There we did many tests. We did test on the turbidity of the water, which is how clear the water it was so murky that we couldn't even see the Secchi disk. Then we did pH levels to see the acidity of the water, and it was around 8 -9 so that is just a little bit over the regular water acidity. Then we tested the DO is the oxygen that is in the water and that was about 7. The we also did a test on the temperature of water that was taken it was about 24 C.

Inteview finallized

Well today we finalized our interview with the Environmental Scientist & Program Director. We had a pretty good interview and got some useful information that we could use in our video. It was good because, we have a lot of problems with finding someone to interview. Then we got her e-mail from our teacher, friend boss, so that was really well and she answered our questions nicely. She also gave us some information that was very useful that could be added to our script.

From the website above i found some very interesting things about water, and recycled water. I found out that Mexico too does use recyled water I didn't know that before, but now I Do. They also are like the united states they have used a lot of water too and think that we all need to recycled to irrigate our farms

Final Script Done

Well our script is totally done now, and i don't need to worry about it anymore as much. I still haven't got our interview filmed and the source hasn't e-mail me back yet. So hopfully she doesn't mind us getting another interview with her. We have also fixed all the questions that we will ask her. I hope that she knows how to answer all of them, it will be wonderful if we could do it this week before we go to the trip to Mexico.

Stressig Over the Script

Well, I have today and tomorrow to finish our script and it doesn't look really well now i will need to take about 1-2 hours to fix everything so that it will look better. hopefully i can get it done in time by Monday.

How did the interview go

Well I think that this interview didn't help us at all in the project, we learned that the lady that we had interviewed knew anything that we needed to know about farms. So, we decided that that was not good at all. We have chose to change the topic to recycled water in U.S. vs. Mexico hopefully she know more information on this and can get another interview with her.

How is everything go with the interview

Well, tomorrow we are going to go to the coast keepers place to get an interview with the manager of the chemistry department and i hope that everything goes well. Hopefully, the interview will help us a lot, and we can get the rest of our script done.

found out that there are different types of recyclers water. There is A grade and this is for irrigating farms and residential gardening. For B grade they have it for animal drinking, or for watering down dairy sheds. This doesn't include miking equipment. C is for animal grazing, and D is for woodlots and flowers. I thought that this was very interesting because I thought that there was only one type of recycled water but, there are many types of them.

I didn't know that the water was that contaminated in the U.S. I thought that the water quailty would be alright and not that bad. I know that a lot of people, drink the tap water but i guess they didn't know how bad the water was.

This web sites has a list of how reclaimed water helps the community, it saves millions of gallons of water from water and animals drinking water. irrigations for the parks and golf course are water 7 days a week. We are now saving a lot of water from irrigation water that is saved and then the other water can be used for other things.

Day at the musesum

Today it was kind of interesting but, also interesting. We learned about many things that we had to wrote about in our journal and had a little thing writtn to our teacher spencer when he was away to boston for 3 days. So, today we learned about copper, mayans, and mummies. it was interesting but, very cool to see all the things. We finally got to sit down at the end of the day.

Inteview Confirming

I have e-mail the lady that is the water composition expert and she said that it is alirght with her to be interviewed on camera. But, we need to schedule a time that is good for all of us to do it. So, our source is partially confirmed.

Script Turned In

The script was turned in and everything, was alright we finished all of it and was on time. The script was also long enough. Hopefully i get a good grade on it.

Our Script is due

Our script is due tomarrow and i am kind of scared of our working getting done. But hopefully we can get it done tonight or else we are kind of screwed. We have to work on it together because, if one of work on it, it will not be fare to the rest of us.

Finding our source

Well, i think that i have to work and help JV get someone for us to interview and help us get our project along faster. But, i am really scared that we will not finish in time it is coming to the end very fast and haven't done anything to prepare us for it.

What I should have done

Well during this weekend I was suppose to call people and see if we could interview any of them. But, then i realized that I did have the phones but the city and other places only work on weekday so i could talk to anyone this weekend. So, i have decided that i have to call someone on monday when we get back to school. I also have to get some numbers from people in my group so i can call the people and follow up on them.

The story board finally goes somewhere

Today we finally got some of our stuff done, JV answered the questions of our opinion on the script and then I added them to the storyboard. But, i haven't put the questions in yet. But, i am not sure should i put them on the storyboard or not. We have also came up with a new idea of a title digging for the truth. We are getting pretty far because, we are getting most of our things done. But, we still haven't confirmed a source that we can interview, that is really scaring me.

How did our flash go?

We talked to about our flash and how to fix it with Spencer. I also talked to JV about things that were going on. He said that he was going to try to finish the script so that i could finish the storyboards about what is JV going to say. Then Raul will fix the flash, now that i know kind of everything is going okay and now i am much more relieved.

Our source of interview

I talked to JV and found out that the source that we have talked to from the water department and someone told us that we can't ask them about opinion that was something that was really interesting. But, JV didn't really confirm to source about what was really gooing to happen. And i am kind of scared about what is really going to happen. The project kind of ends right before thanksgiving and i haven't really thought about what we should do.

How the Flash is going

My group and i have talked a little and have vfound out that Raul in outr group is doing the flash he says that he is almost done with all the work. I am so glad that we are finally going somewhere with this project. Before when i was stressing about the other mini project i wasn't reallly working on this project. Now that we have something that we have finally finished i am so glad and all the stress is almost relieved.

I think that i found a lot of imformation that i have got from the web stie about the annual water quality report from the www.padredam.org/ and found out there are also a lot of information about what has been hapening around us. And some things that can be changed.

i have found out about the water and that they do use recycled water on the farms. I don't think that it is too good to do that.

The lady that we had called during class told us that we might be able to visit the helix water district or the padre water district. She was a recycling water specialist, and she told us that we might be able to visit the water recycling plants and how they recycle water. They can also, recycled water that has been used to water plants on farms. She might be one of the people that we should do interview for the water composition on farms. But, she said that we have to give her some questions that we might ask her so that she could find, the information if she did not know it she can look it up or find someone that knows the information.

The music that was played during the Incas period, was played with bells, trumpets, and they were made out of brass or stone. Because during the Incas period they knew how to melt metal. They then used that knowledge that they know to make instruments to play. Music was also part of some ceremony that they had. I think that music was a big part in their daily lives.
